Readers are Leaders

We are open for student circulation 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Library Catalog

The Library Media Center circulates books, musical instruments, and Chromebooks to students.

Kindergarten through second-grade students may check out 1 book at a time, while students in 3rd through 8th grade may check out 2books at a time.

All books are loaned for one week before they need to be returned or renewed. Musical instruments and Chromebooks are due back by May 1, 2026.

How it works:

  • Students who read 400+ minutes in a month can earn a FREE Bundt Cake

  • Simply print the reading log, track your child’s minutes, and turn the completed log in at the Nothing Bundt Cakes store

  • Reading minutes can and should also be logged electronically in Beanstack.

This is a wonderful way to encourage strong reading habits—plus, who doesn’t love a tasty reward? Thank you for supporting your child’s reading at home, and happy reading!

Parent ProTech

With the passage of SB351, the Georgia Department of Education and Parent Protech have teamed up to offer access to all Georgia educators and parents to the ParentPro website.  Parent ProTech offers resources to help parents, students, and educators navigate the digital world with tech guides and parental control tips to keep kids safe online.

Monitoring children's usage of the internet is vitally important. The Common Sense Census shows that kids are using social media at younger ages, with notable growth between ages eight to 12. By age 10, approximately 40% of children have a phone. By age 14, that number climbs to 91%. Let's keep our students safe and informed about the benefits and dangers of being on the internet. Teachers will present lessons to all of our students this year about being good digital citizens and developing good digital habits.
